Okay all you blogging geniuses out there-I've got a friend who would like to know how to make a photo slide show and post it on her blog. Anyone know how?
And on that same note, anyone know why my layout keeps disappearing? I did it the same way as my Kellerspace layout and that one is still there. Very curious.
Anyone else have any blog questions? I know there are some of you out there with questions and some of you with the answers!

"There are several ways to post slide shows. You can do it two ways through Picasa. For both, you need to have the pictures you want in one album. You can go through the layout section of blogger and add a slide show to your sidebar. It will automatically access your picasa albums and let you choose one. This is the easiest way, but then it's always on the sidebar. If you want it as a post, then you can open your photo album in Picasa and on the right side it says "Link to this album." When you click on that another link below will appear that says, "Embed slide show." When you click on this a box will open and allow you to choose a size, etc. Then you have to copy the html code and paste it into a blog post.
There are other photo sites that you can upload photos to and they will also allow you to create slide shows to embed into your site. Photobucket is one I see a lot. www.photobucket.com/slideshows

Rockyou.com is a fun one to use. There are all kinds of little tools you can use from how you want your pictures to appear (i.e. bubble in, fade, etc..) and you can add other things like stars falling and such. You just upload your pictures and then embed the code either on a sidebar or in the post.
make sure if you are embedding through blogspot that you click the HTML tab at the top right of the Text box.
