Here is an excellent question from Cassie:
"I have been working out a lot and losing some weight and now I have to buy new clothes! Yay! But I want to know-Where is eveyone's favorite place to shop? I always see everyone wearing these cute clothes. Where do I find them?! And where have you found some great deals?! Thanks!"
Good job on the weight loss Cassie! I wish I had a good reason like that to go shopping.
My problem is I feel so out of touch with fashion as a stay-at-home mom. I think I either need to order a fashion magazine or go hang out on the college campus to see what everyone is wearing these days. I just don't know what is cute anymore. (How old do I sound?)
Please comment and let us know how you stay stylin'!

Ya, I don't know much about fashion either, but I know skinny leg jeans are in, and they are NOT flattering! They make even the skinniest people look fat-just my opinion. :)
I am spoiled rotten by the jeans at the Buckle! I will not buys jeans anywhere else. I worked in fashion retail for many many years and would recommend to invest in a great pair of jeans and then you can wear pretty much anything with them and look and feel great. You can find really cute trendy tops for not much money at Forever 21.
I shop at Ann Taylor. It's a little more expensive, but there clearance racks are always full. I love it because it is classic styles, not just trends that will fade out (remember parachute pants).
One word of caution is to remember to look at tags for what is dry clean only and what is not.
Oh and if you are littler than me (which you always were Cass) Banana Republic is a good place to go as well. Scott loves their clothes, but sadly they don't have anything for a curvy woman.
Banana Republic is my favorite store of all times, but they are so expensive! I too LOVE Buckle jeans (if you read my recent posts, you will know I have a love/hate relationship w/ that place!), but again, not so cheap. So if I am working on a budget (and when am I not) I shop at Target or Kohls. Also the Gap usually has great clearance sales. And I am not stylish or trendy AT ALL. But I do happen to be in Young Women's so I steal all their trendiness. Pathetic, I know.
If you have money J Crew :) If not hit the clearance at Gap or Banana...and if you have even less money like me...Target always has trendy clothes on the cheap. Just dress up jeans and a shirt with a chunky necklace or a lighweight scarf, some big earrings, ballet flats and you're good to go! Try stuff on at the store that you wouldn't normally try and it'll suprise you what looks good on you! Good luck!
I love to shop at kohls. They always have cute stuff for cheap. That is where i buy most of our clothes. I buy most of my daughters clothes there as well. They are always good about having sales and if you have their credit card they always send you like 30% off coupons that you can use with the sale items. We do but I use it for the discount and then pay it off same day.
I personally love Charlotte Russe for shirts! They have some REALLY cute stuff! However they also have some interesting stuff as well, so you kind of have to pick through it! A look that is really popular down here at BYU are pea coats with skinny or straight leg jeans tucked into brown rider boots. SO CUTE!
