Here's my current favorite. My sister sent this to me and I use nearly every day. Its an apple peeler/slicer/corer. It about 5 seconds you go from whole apple to this peeled apple spring. Then I just slice once for apple slices. I can imagine this is also super handy for making apple pie, making dehydrated apples, or for canning apples. I have even used it with potatoes to make mashed potatoes in no time. Just throw the potato spring and core in the water and you can crank out tons of potatoes in minutes.

I use mine almost every day also. Just curious, does the vacuum seal hold it in place well? I was a little worried about that. I have to clamp mine to the counter or table.

My mom uses that for making applesauce! So much faster than doing it all by hand.
For my favorite kitchen gadget, I'd have to go with my hand broom and dustpan that I keep under the high chair. I use it every day after my baby is done eating. It's so much easier than getting out my big broom and cleaning the whole floor!
I also love my pasta maker. I got it at TJ Maxx for $9.99 a few years ago and there is nothing better than homemade pasta! Especially when I throw some spinach or sun dried tomatoes in there.
I like kitchen shearers (aka really cool scissors.) They cut everything from cardboard and wire to green onions and pie crust.
Hey-I used the apple gadget today! I hook it up and delegate the handle turning to the kids-or John. They are thrilled. It's really handy for canning.
