My good friend Rachel has a question that I hope we can help her with. She is wondering if anyone knows where she can buy affordable bedding for her little girls. When she looks online she can find very cute stuff, but out of her price range. Does anyone have any suggestions for her? Where should she look?
(She is specifically looking for something that is lime green, watermelon pink, soft pink, and white)

beyondbedding.com has some SUPER cute stuff and I think their prices are pretty good! They also have an ebay store where you can sometimes get even better prices then their website

I'm not sure if you have a Kohl's near you, but they always have adorable bedding for kids. I wait for the bedding to go on sale and then combine with store coupons I get in the mail (after signing up for their mailing list). Plus, you can earn Kohl's cash too.
I know this might sound creepy, but you can also look on Craig's list. Often upper class people sell Pottery Barn (etc.) bed sets that retail for hundreds for next to nothing. I would be very selective in who I buy bedding from online, but if you go to their house you can get a glimpse of where the bedding has been. Obviously buy your own sheets, but you might snag a really expensive comforter for cheap.
One thing that can look great on a super small budget is to just find some flat sheets that you love and sew them together on the edges to make a duvet cover. You can invest in a nice down comforter that they can use for a super long time (you only have to change the duvet to update their rooms). Or just find an old, ugly, fluffy blanket if you have one and throw your duvet cover over that. (Put a solid color layer of sheets in between if your duvet is too see through.)
